Waterbearer is historical fiction written in lyrical prose like a collage that gathers fragments to represent an impression of what it means for African American women to do laundry. Join us for a lecture by the author and a dramatic reading of an excerpt from Waterbearer. Dramatic readings by Itzel Ayala, Luka Crozier, Robyn Katona, Nia Shuler, directed by Beth Watkins.

Following the performance there will be a brief discussion/presentation about the Larimer River Roots Community Well Project.
