Being sustained in your ministry can be a challenge. Sometimes the hardest part is remembering that it’s not about you—it’s about what God is doing through you and the people you serve. What you do matters.
Whether you teach, preach, or pastor, join us for “Nurturing Your Spirit as You Serve in Ministry”—part of the Journey Inward Journey Outward series—Tues., March 18 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. The Rev. Dr. Andrew Purves, Jean and Nancy Davis Professor of Historical Theology at PTS, and the Rev. Cathy Purves, pastor of Bellevue United Presbyterian Church, will serve as the keynote speakers.
In addition to the keynote presentation, attendees will select from three workshops: “Soul-Tending through Spiritual Practice” taught by Leanna Fuller, assistant professor of pastoral care, PTS; “Ministry in the Dark Night of the Church” taught by L. Roger Owens, associate professor of leadership and ministry, PTS; and “A Life Crying to Be Heard” taught by Joan Prentice, associate pastor, Mt. Ararat Baptist Church.
Registration fee is $40 and includes lunch. Register online. Contact the Office of Continuing with questions at 412-924-1345 or .
