We need your help! We’re participating in a week-long competition between Pittsburgh, Princeton, Columbia, and Dubuque Theological Seminaries, from April 10-17. During this challenge, only particular items are being collected. These items are amenities that are in high need at food pantries or shelters but rarely donated. Each item has a corresponding point value. By 5:00 p.m. on April 17, the seminary with the most points wins.

  • Combs and Brushes
  • Deodorant
  • Zip-Lock Bags
  • Band-Aids

5 Points

  • Travel size soaps and shampoos
  • Tissues or Toilet Paper
  • Antibacterial Ointment
  • Toothbrushes
  • Toothpaste

10 Points

  • Baby wipes or wet wipes
  • Diapers
  • Thick socks

15 Points

  • Sleeping Bags
  • Feminine Hygiene Products
  • Underwear (men’s and women’s, all sizes, especially the larger sizes)

Please do not donate used items, only new. Collection bins will be placed in the Reception Office in Long Hall, first and second floor McNaugher, and the cafeteria, starting Fri., April 10.
