Pittsburgh Theological Seminary celebrated the Class of 2015 during two services. The Service of Thanksgiving was held Thurs., June 4 and the Rev. Dr. Andrew Purves, Jean and Nancy Davis Professor of Historical Theology, preached. On Fri., June 5, we gathered at East Liberty Presbyterian Church for the 219th Commencement activities. The Rev. Dr. Charles Campbell, professor of homiletics at Duke University Divinity School, was the speaker. A number of students also received graduation awards.This year four of our graduates are alums of the Miller Summer Youth Institute, a PTS program for high school students, and Eric Vinsel earned the Seminary's first M.Div. Church Planting Emphasis degree.
