Doctor of ministry student the Rev. Cathryn (Cathy) Brundage, of Verona, Pa., died Sept. 11, 2018, at the age of 65. Cathy was the pastor of Morning Star Baptist Church in West Mifflin, Pa. She was scheduled to graduate from the Seminary’s D.Min. Urban Focus in Spring 2019.
Sharing her gift in music she led worship for the weekly services of the Baptist Ministers’ Conference. A retired school administrator and wonderful mentor to many, especially women in ministry, Cathy was certainly well loved and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband the Rev. Joseph Brundage, former pastor of Zion Hill Baptist Church in Jeannette, Pa., and survived by her three children, Christen Joy, Joshua Joseph, and April Jasmine Lynne.
