There are several transportation options to and from the airport with a wide price range.
For the brave spirited and economical, the PAT Bus Airport Flyer (28X) is only $2.75 one way. It runs 7 days a week every 45 minutes. Hours of operation are 5:30 a.m. to 11:50 p.m. The nearest stop to the Seminary is at Forbes and Morewood in Oakland. From there you will need to go one block up to Fifth Ave. and take a 500 Highland Park Bus. This will cost $2.25. Tell your driver you need to get off at Pittsburgh Seminary which is across the street from Peabody High School.
Here are more details about the 28X Airport Flyer:
- One-way fare to or from the airport is $2.75.
- Operators do not carry change. Exact change is required when paying your fare.
- Port Authority passes, tickets and transfers are accepted. Fares are paid upon boarding.
- You are responsible for handling your bags both on and off the vehicle. Because this is public transportation, tipping operators is not permitted.
- When traveling to the airport, stops in Oakland and Downtown as well as along West Carson Street and the West Busway are for boarding only.

- Schedule
For those who want their trip to be totally predictable, call Super Shuttle at 800- BLUE-VAN (800-258-3826) at least one day in advance to arrange for direct service to the Seminary. Reservation can be made online as well at www.supershuttle.com. You can also visit the Super Shuttle ticket counter at the airport and arrange to get on the next shuttle based on availability. The cost one-way for one person is about $30.
For those who don't like any of those options just catch one of the many yellow cabs at the airport. You may have to pay dearly, however, depending upon traffic.
