The Content and Dynamics of the Third Week of the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises
At the invitation of Dr. Martha Robbins, Jim Conroy, S.J. presented "The Content and Dynamics of the Third Week of the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises" to the members of the charter cohort of Pneuma: Spiritual Direction and Leadership Program at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary March 13, 2010. The "Third Week" of the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises focuses upon being with Christ in prayer and discipleship during his passion, death, and burial. The Christian is called to be with Christ to share intimately in his desire to love God and others unto the end and to discover in what ways they may be called to do so. The "Fourth Week" focuses upon the Resurrection and how the Christian is invited into ever deepening relationship with the Risen Christ present with us.
