Mission Conference Held March 25-26

The World Mission Initiative at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary will host “motivity” the ACMC (Advancing Churches in Missions Commitment) Conference March 25-26. Pastors, mission task-force members, Christian education directors, Sunday school teachers, field workers, and interested lay people are encouraged to attend. Keynote speakers include William R. Glaze, pastor of Bethany Baptist Church in Pittsburgh, and Steve Moore, founder of Keep Growing Inc.

Participants will choose from four pre-conference intensives including “Business as Mission—The Fourth Pillar (understanding God’s kingdom purposes for the integration of business as mission)”; “Developing a Missions Strategy That Fits Your Church”; Reaching Muslims for Christ: What Jesus is Doing in the Muslim World”; and “Nation Changing Prayer for Missions”. Additional workshops will be presented throughout the event and include leadership and administration, Islam, teaching missions to children, short-term missions, missionary care, field worker prep, mobilization, business as mission, and prayer.

Registration fees are $24 for Friday’s pre-conference events; $60 for Saturday only; and $80 for Friday and Saturday. Fees are increased by $12 for those registering after March 7. Discounts are available for groups and students.
