Seminary Joins Tuition Exchange Program
Pittsburgh Theological Seminary recently joined the Tuition Exchange Inc. The Tuition Exchange program provides the opportunity for family members of faculty and staff to receive undergraduate tuition scholarships at member institutions while also accepting students into the Seminary at a reduced cost.
Chartered in 1954, started with the support of TIAA/CREF, and launched with funding from the Ford Foundation for the Advancement of Higher Education, The Tuition Exchange is the oldest and largest program of its kind in the U.S. with more than 600 member institutions. More than 20 schools are added each year. The Tuition Exchange scholarships are competitive awards and on average, 6,000 scholarships are awarded annually, with amounts averaging about $24,000. This program will allow Pittsburgh Seminary to attract and retain high-quality employees and high-caliber students.
Pittsburgh Theological Seminary is a graduate professional institution of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).
