PTS Hosts Ethics Workshop

Pittsburgh Theological Seminary’s Metro-Urban Institute will sponsor “Ethics in Counseling and Pastoral Care” Wed., Feb. 6 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Dr. Taunya Tinsley and the Rev. Dr. Joan Prentice will lead the workshop.

Dr. Tinsley is a counselor educator at California University of Pennsylvania as well as a practitioner in private practice in areas of counseling, research and publications. She focuses on multicultural issues in counseling; multicultural training and organizational development; spiritual counseling; sports counseling; and youth, adolescent and adult development through sports.

Dr. Prentice serves as the pastor to new members at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church in Pittsburgh and is responsible for preparing new members for membership through new member classes, baptism, and right hand of fellowship.

This seminar is open to the community. Students, clergy, laity, and community leaders are encouraged to attend.
