Medicine, Culture, and Spirituality

Pittsburgh Theological Seminary will co-sponsor “Medicine, Culture, and Spirituality” Fri., Sept. 9, 2011 from 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. at Chestnut Ridge Golf Resort and Conference Center. Safdar Chaudhary, associate professor of psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, will speak at the event.

This annual conference held by S’eclairer, an educational and treatment center in Delmont, Pa., will enhance the ability of professionals and individuals to understand the mutual interaction of health care, societal realities, and spiritual concerns and to develop practices that foster human well-being for themselves and others.
